Training Description:

Neuroscience is an increasingly useful topic for judges. No matter what the disagreement, the common denominator is people. Conflict often triggers a stress response in parties involved in court or settlement negotiations. Judges must be equipped to effectively deal with the emotions and reactions that arise as a result.

Who Should Attend:

This training is designed for all Nevada judges. Note: Meets NDJ Core Competency "Judicial Administration" (JA) and “Judicial Skills” (JS).

Continuing Education Credit:

1.0 hour CLE/CJE (Certificate of Attendance required to receive continuing legal/judicial education credit). NOTE: CLE credit for this course is approved through June 4, 2024, and will then be stale dated.
