The Haze Clears: Marijuana Issues in Nevada Courts
(Session Materials)

Session Description: Professor Kamin provides an introduction to marijuana in the courts. He will help you to think through, for example, whether contracts involving medical marijuana facilities are enforceable, and whether an attorney can legally assist a medical marijuana dispensary. Additionally, he touches on probation conditions, firearms possession by users, and the rights of property owners to forbid the use of marijuana on their premises. Family jurisdiction is not left out when Professor Kamin discusses parental rights, custody, visitation, and whether a school nurse can administer medical marijuana to a child at school.
