Training Description: Fraud can happen in any organization no matter the size. As public funding decreases and the public's demand for services grows, the scrutiny on the use of scarce resources intensifies. Fraudulent activity affects not only your ability to offer the necessary but also draws unwelcome negative attention.
This webinar will focus on fraud basics such as the common types of fraud; the costs of fraud; the common reasons why fraud happen; and steps that your organization can take to prevent fraud. Faculty will provide new and useful information regarding fraud and fraud prevention that the attendee can use to create or improve their organization's internal controls.
